LOL, My house is "Alor Setar Safari" full with Cockcroach, antz, Centipedes, rats(sometimes) but you're welcome to stay :D Air conditioner included ^^

aiyah....with a degree 'easier' to find job lah.......but still you shouldn't be choosy....just find any job (if you can't find any job in your relevant field) .......remember every job is a good working experience which is VERY important when people look at your resume...... ;)

In my opinion......I also happen to think that Kenari is da best option here. ISwara 1.3 is not that bad but being a 20+ years old technology and no auto transmission.....nah......not my cuppa tea :D

i didnt have any digi camera, but i know one place very nice to take klang picture... if u are free, go to FELLA(a furniture warehouse on top on the hill) to take some picture. u can see the whole north klang!!! I think its located either in Bukit Raja or Shah alam. U can reach there if u use federal highway :P

But what to do, these are vital components of our country... Without the tall towers, how is electricity gonna be carried from the power stations to our homes?

I believe land owners over there like Telekom and AMFinance couldn't agree more! That's why they took initiative to at least paint the pylons mah..like AMFinance red and yellow..while telekom blue and white...While Tenaga National HQ in PJ is safely away from those...them punya pasal hehehe

Well.....these high-tension wires could be placed underground like in many cities. I guess Tenaga is slowly 'converting em' to the underground ones but since it is an expensive thing to do and that our city planners do not take such aesthetics into concern.......I guess we would have to wait lah :D

WOW Kuching has a not bad skyline...Hey kuching's roads r quite broad ;)

The second building (white) from the left in the picture is Kuching Hilton International Hotel. It's situated along the stretch of the waterfront, a landscaped esplanade along Sarawak River. The scenery there is very beautiful. :)

the older ones like Sunrise tower and one persiaran gurney were built in the 80's(not sure) the newer, taller ones were built in the 90's. a few more are still comming up now, like Gurney Palace and 11 Gurney;)

New PJ updates:
1. Axis has a new and ugly Fujifilm signage!
2. The back portion (facing the Federal Highway) of Amcorp Suites is being painted yellow in color... Lets hope it does not become a huge yellow banana!
3. Other buildings being painted: the Bayu Puteri Condo in Tropicana and Palm Springs Damansara condo...
4. Renovations on the EPF Building (next to the Jalan Gasing flyover) are almost completed... Looks like a totally new building and definitely much better than the old facade!
5. Millennium Place condo and mall in Sec. 14 (adjacent to Menara Jaya condo) has reached 8 floors!
6. The new 22-storey 3-block condo in Kelana Jaya (close to Kelana Center Point) has been topped-up... I forgot the name of that project, though...
7. Assunta Hospital's 8-storey extention has topped-up as well, and the walls are being bricked-up on each floor...

Yea....you're probably right about the Amcorp Tower....it is a waste of space up there for not having a revolving restaurant actually. Isn't it more economically viable to have a restaurant / observation deck up there than a helipad :? :D

I used to think KL Tower and Public Bank switches off lights very late but my recent 'wee hours' experience in da city tells me that both buildings are still litted up after 3am........my panos in the other thread shows ;)

Make it similar to KL and Penang (the top-floor restaurants at KL Tower and Komtar respectively)... The only top-floor one in PJ is at the Hilton, but that's a private lounge for the Executive floor...

Btw, heard that the top floor (some more penthouse!) of MPPJ Tower is to be converted into a restaurant... Somehow no more news about that plan? What a waste...

ANyway just now is the first time me seeing Public Bank in darkness! :eek: :eek: :eek:

I was passing by there at close to 4am and it is all dark!.....but KL Tower lights are still on..... ;)

I remember last time I can't sleep and drive to work at 6am......Public Bank lights would still be on. And when sometimes it rained so heavily till the sky is dark at 5pm....Public Bank lights are on liao......I think they got sensor lah :D

I am not too sure where you could get such joblah......mostly these kind of job are known thru word of mouth only. If I've heard of one I'll let ya know ;)

The circular shoplots are actually part of Damansara Perdana... Mutiara would be towards the left of the pix (not seen), where IKEA-Ikano, The Curve, Tesco, and Cineleisure are located...
