Everybody haves his secret to start a city in simcity4. How hihg are the taxxesall those kind of things. Please share rhose things whit me.

So please share you'r secrets whit me.

windmills, water towers + pipes, i actually rarely at the start of the game with altering taxes. Dont build schools, etc till the citizens complain - ,keep building enough industrial and commercial for your residents. DOnt build any parks, build grid-like and altogether - no matter now crap and depressing it looks (i then come back later when my city is making millions and hundred of thousands strong to make the area more up scale, imperssive, unique and stronger. Build the reward buildings to increase your pop - build a cop + fire station ONLY when a fire, riot, etc starts. Gradually build schools, hospitals ONLY when you get to around 40,000 peeps and then go sprawling - if you do this kinda right then you should have LOTS of money - without cheating and a large popualtion. Gradually lower taxes when you have the funds + but also build new + larger facilities + services to keep the cities going. Dont forget region play - but dont start trading water, garbage, power - its not worth it and only connext rail, subway,road, etc. I have a region of near 7million - but the whole game has fucked up - all terraformed, all skillfully crafted without the use to cheats and other crappy shit :) - but now completely unplayable :(

My secret is taxes. I put it like it:

Résidential: $= 20%
$$= 65 %
$$$= 20 %

So, I don't have a demand for $ residential and on the contrary, many $$$ demand.

Commercial: CS$= 20%
CS$$= 9%
CS$$$= 5%

CO$$= 6%
CO$$$= 2 %

No demand CS$ and many CO$$$.

Industrial: Dirty= 20%
manufacturing= 12.5%
Hightech= 2 %

For build a city with my secret, you should make the cheat for money.:D
