Looks nice. Last time I was in Kelowna the bridge was about two thirds complete.

I wonder if the other bridge has been taken down yet... guess we need a Kelowna forumer to update us with that.

The construction cam from the bridge's homepage is still up and running:

If you zoom in you can still see some of the bridge structure on the very left hand side, but much of it has been removed so far.

why was the old bridge removed? Couldnt it be used for anything such as future needs?

It's a very utilitarian looking bridge, but better than what we had.

great pano there. Well at least the bridge functions properly... though I don't really understand the odd lane thing.

I suspect the lane differential was a cost saving measure, or perhaps traffic volumes didn't justify building a third lane eastbound. Maybe both.

Just guesses, mind you.
