Nexus

A 600m tall monolithic design reminscent of long since past civilisations with an almost aztec ziggaraut style, or ancient egyption feel. The design pays homage to the past with its shape and theme but also embodies the future with its glitzy mirrored facadism and its almost iconic reflection pools (hazmat radiation style).

Stargate also comes heavily to mind with a very strong Go'auld architectural presence. Its what i'd call a retrofuturistic and slightly extraneous intergalactic design.

The design is essentially a resort or residential orientated with a strong and vibrant vegas feel. Not really a suitor to business.

This concept is rough but exceedingly more progressive as an overral design idea than the original form study renderings.

This is a full sci-fri extravaganza of technology, glitz and Stargate inspired retro-futurism. You have to love the plasma displays, lasers and the ubiquitous reflective exoskeleton... watch out Times Square here comes Nexus ... the next evolutionary step in skyscraper design.
