With all the talk of the recession, cancelled projects and projects 'on hold', it's easy to become down in the dumps. There are still however a number of great projects still going ahead. Here are a few, there's many more...

Too right mate! There's enough to be grumpy about just thinking of the football team, so don't let everything else get you down.
Let's not also forget Sky Plaza and Broadcasting Place, of course :)

I trip up on paving slabs pretty much every time I'm in the city centre! Where is the new paving going to be located?

The new paving that has been laid on Briggate/Albion Street/Albion Place/King Edward Street- the next phase to be Lands Lane I believe.
I noticed that trees have now been planted on Albion Place.

Seen how grubby and chewing gum coated it is already? Nothing to be cheerful about there!

They should just make the pavements out of chewing gum in the first place. Would be so much easier! Or make it look like chewing gum...
It suprises me how many people actually chew chewing gum- and even more so, the number who spit it out onto the street.

That's why we're cheerful, we sit there watching people tripping over taking pictures. Oh and how we laugh, we laugh so hard our sides ached with mirth!

Twisted my ankle this afternoon on a dodgy pavement. Wasn't even taking photos.

Do guide dogs bark at uneven pavements? I think not!
