Unsa kaha itukod dira atbang sa DXCP and NFA no?? Sa karon mingaw pa man. Hilom2 lang ang lot dra ba bcg makalitan lang ug butang sa usa ka high rise. Unta lang. :D

to be honest, noong highschool pa ako lagi kong winiwish or iniimagine ang isang 2 storey McDonalds outlet dyan sa triangular na lote na yan. Muntik nang magkatotoo noong mag open ang first McDonalds branch sa tapat nito sa side ng KCC. :lol:

Oh well, sana nga ay 15-20 storey corporate tower ang itatayo dyan. the location is very very prime. then sana yung facade ng tower ay lagyan nila ng giant LED screen na parang time square sa new york. :)

Matagal nang pinaplanong ilipat ang NFA regional office somewhere in Apopong. I think may nabili na yata silang property.

ABS CBN is planning something big for their Network, they are only waiting for the IRR or implementing rules and regulations for the Digital Terrestrial Television (DTT) sa Philippines.1st quarter next year kung walang pagbabago.

Meron sila 5 Channels to add in 1 freqeuency and its free. Just buy the one time payment sa Set Top Box nila (2,500), all are digital clear. It includes Music channel, news channel, movie channel,anime channel.

Hoping na masali na gensan next year.

Land Bank of the Philippines will finance the KCC expansion, that was few months ago according sa officemate nako and nakita pud niya ang plan. They already presented the plans to the LBP people.

Part na pala ng sinawal ang location ng La cassandra at ng Norfolk. I must admit, when I went to la cassandra for a visit, I like the place....mahangin lalo na sa hapon kaya napapawi rin ang init.:cheers:

THE franchise owner of Microtel Inn and Suites Davao, the Damosa Land Inc., will open a 66-room hotel in General Santos City by the last quarter of next year.

Microtel Davao general manager Rocky Jorolan said he will still handle the Microtel Gensan as this is within the Mindanao area.

"Microtel Gensan is a done deal," Jorolan told Sun.Star Davao Friday.

Jorolan said he couldn't exactly say the investment for the Microtel Gensan except to reveal that construction stage will likely commence late of 2012.

Jorolan, meanwhile, said that Microtel Davao is doing good business in the city not only because of its high occupancy rate but also based on revenues.

To date, the 51-room Microtel Davao has an occupancy rate of 70 percent, and Jorolan attributed this to the kind of accommodation and service the hotel is offering to its customers.

Jorolan said their guests get satisfaction every time they stay in the hotel because of its service and friendly staff.

Aside from these attributes, Microtel Davao is best known for its cleanliness, convenience, safety, homey atmosphere, affordable rates and accessibility.

In fact, Microtel Davao received rave reviews from its clients who have experienced the service and hospitality of the hotel's crew.

Dapat ayuhon nila ang Gmall Dadiangas ui! Naglagot jud ko ddto ghapon kay nasangit akong sanina sa counter nila nga gwapo kaayo! Nagisi. Mrag kinahanglan jud nila ang General Renovation kanang iclose jud ang buong mall. :nuts:

104 rooms ang royale pero palaba kag tambok ang ilang building. kung slim ang building aning green leaf og kung naay mga dagko nga function halls (for conventions) sa second floor, pwede kaayo mahimong 10 storeys or more. :cheers:

POLICE ASSISTANCE CENTERS ESTABLISHED IN MALLS IN REGION 12

The Police Regional Office 12 has established police assistance centers (PACs) in various shopping malls and department stores in the region in a bid to help deter crimes and other related incidents within their premises.

Chief Supt. Benjardi Mantele, Region 12 police director, said the establishment of the PACs is part of their efforts to ensure security and provide maximum visibility in public areas within the region’s four provinces and five cities.

Region 12 or the Soccsksargen Region covers the provinces of South Cotabato, Sultan Kudarat, Sarangani, North Cotabato and the cities of General Santos, Koronadal, Tacurong, Kidapawan and Cotabato.

Mantele said they opened the first mall-based PAC earlier this week at the Robinsons Place shopping mall here.

The police official said he instructed the region’s provincial, city and municipal police offices and stations to also set up PACs in all shopping malls and department stores within their areas of responsibility.

This city, which is considered as the region’s center for trade and commerce, hosts three major shopping malls – Robinsons, KCC and Gaisano – and three other department stores.

Mall chain SM Supermalls is currently building a shopping mall complex here, which is considered as one of the chain’s biggest malls in Mindanao.

Koronadal City has three shopping malls; Cotabato City has one mall and two other department stores; and, the cities of Kidapawan and Tacurong have three department stores each.

Mantele said the presence of the policemen and the PACs within the malls will allow their owners to easily deal with and seek assistance from the local police.

“The presence of policemen inside the malls may also help prevent the occurrence of crimes as well as limit the movement of criminal elements,” he said.

He cited the recent shooting incidents in SM malls in Quezon City and Pampanga that left four people dead.

Mantele said the PACs will be manned by two to four uniformed police personnel, who will mainly be tasked to oversee the shopping malls’ security arrangements and provide immediate assistance to their security-related needs.

He said the policemen who will be assigned to the PACs will also help monitor the possible entry of firearms and other weapons inside the mall premises.

If Im not mistaken Teng Family is the owner of Kimball Plaza and the Jollibee stores at National Highway, Robinsons and Calumpang. Im so glad they are so back in business for Magandang GenSan.:cheers:

Kakaiba rin yang building na yan actually. I was amazed by its design kasi ginawang semento talaga lahat ng design elements lalo na sa facade. kakaiba talaga. hehe

^^Infairness sa pinaka huling Pacman Building sa ngayon, yung sa may block zero sa City heights, ay medyo desente naman na ang hitsura. Hindi na mukhang chapsuey sa dami ng mga unnecessary designs na kulang sa logic, harmony at proportions.

May isang part ng building na ito na may resemblance ng One Network Bank...kita nyo ba sa perspective? hmmm...magbubukas kaya ng branch dito ang ONB? :cheers:

I hope that that same Filipino spirit that is always manifested everytime manny fights will stay all the days of our lives. Undoubtedly that will bring a better and brighter Davao, General Santos, Zamboanga, Cagayan de Oro and of course the whole Philippines.

Was buying some fresh frozen tuna products at my favorite Pacific Seas Seafood Market for the Blogfest Soccsksargen 2.0 Speakers last week when I noticed a frenzied construction activity right across the highway from the store.

Right between the Tandem Center Building housing the popular joint Veranda and the CED Buildings is what seems to be the makings of a big warehouse. Upon closer look, I saw this yellow billboard at the front part of the property.

It’s an announcement of a soon-to-open MINI-MARKET (as the billboard says), named TOP 7 Mart.

The billboard goes on to say: ”For Inquiries, please call 0922-8500111“.

And obviously, TOP 7 Mart is also owned by the Tan Family, who owns the Tandem Center Building 7 and Veranda since the billboard also says: “Submit your resume/biodata at the Veranda Cashier.”

I hope this new business is sort of like a one-stop warehouse club where we can just buy anything without going through the long lines of today’s malls in GenSan. That sure would be a welcome development.

I think tanang mga vacant sa KCC kay naa nay nag occupy. ang iba nag renovate og may expansion og SOON TO OPEN. latest nako nakit an kay ang SANDUGO, NO CURFEW,DAVD's SALON,ETC. Ang opening sa samsung kay on dec 18, (dating lugar sa JB music and sports.nibalhin sila sa dating smart center)
naay pay soon to open nga dapit lang pud sa kamiseta. duha ka stores kalimot lang ko katong isa. pero nahinmduman nako ang THE BODY SHOP :cheers: kung tama ang estimation nako nga may mga bag ong mga tenants sa kcc kay more than 10.

Ang importante ra man sa isa ka parade kay maagaw nimo ang attention sa mga tawo sa palibot na imong maagihan...therefore, imbes na mugastos silag ginatos ka libuan ka pisos sa mga dekorasyones, maghire na lang silag maayo nga highschool band then konting banners and balloons! the STAR himself/herself (e.g. Pacman, Shamcey, etc...) is enough already to GRACE the parade kung visual lang gina-estoryahan...dddduuuh! gastos nga wala sa lugar... UTOK daw ang gamiton beh dili ang pride...
