The colors aren't that good at day, but it's cool at night! 7/10

Inconsistent style, bad color, ugly shape - it's quite tall but that can't save it.

Awful. The only thing that might be considered good is the lighting.

I lived in Changsha for a year, back in '89 - I'd love to see what the city looks like today (I'd also love to eat more chou dofu from HuoGong Dian, but that's a different thread).

This building is a definite improvement over the city's 1980s blocks, though I'm not a big fan of pastels...6/10.

overall the building looks great, however the colors are not that good (especially the light-pink facade, which ruins the buildings image)...i'm thinking it looks better at night

i seriously doubt the building really looks like that today. the real color of the facade seems to be pinkish-orange, and the greenish-white part of the building is just a protective covering of the facade during construction (they have removed most of it by the time those pics are taken). and the purple areas of the building are just protective coverings over the windows.

im sure the building looks really decent with those protective covers removed, but too bad we don't have good pics of the building completed. but here's the best one i found in the cityscapes/skyline photos subforum:

Colours? Bleeh? Building? Hmmm...... Name? Euh....... Architect? Still architecting..... Not very bad looking, it's just insultingly bad, that is all. Otherwise, this would be a building from Mars. It looks week, the detail is limited, windows are ugly, the ground observation is a good touch, but the building itself is loosing touch. But the material is nice, I like it. It's average.....5/10.
