Ok,it has to be more latvians job than estonians, but still this is the deal.

Valga ( estonian town side ) or Valka ( latvian town side ) had a contest for latvian students to make " town cultural center "- the jobs are listed on estonian and i hope also on the latvian town sites. I will give the link , but if somebody would be so nice and get the contestants jobs to this forum?

My khm, employers, visited the building and were largely disappointed. Architectural standards below soviet type-projects.

In Valka there is no development threat because there is no development.
(If frankly - Valka next to Ludza belongs to least developed and worst looking towns in Latvia. Sorry to say it)

a competition has been held for a new tourist center of valga / valka. i only know that the second place was awarded for a supercool project by jürgen lepper from kauss (www.kauss.ee). will soon introduce the project in my blog. i'll also try to find out something about the winning project...

Looks like Valga Kutsehariduskeskus has been completed. News about some conference held today in Valga had small photo of finished building and it looks pretty cool (mesilastele meeldib see kindlasti! :D)
