Just thought I would start a thread regarding Google Earth updates on Sri Lanka. It's not directly related to cities/urban areas/development but what better way to visualise everything that's going on than having a browse of Google Earth?

I've noticed a significant update; Google Earth and Google Maps have updated roads all around Lanka, now most A & B roads are on there, including smaller roads in Colombo, Kandy and a few other areas.

One big error is the Ambepussa-Polgahawela-Kegalla road triangle.

someone post a shot of BIA...the pictures havent changed since around 2005 as the aerobridges were being built.

It is a community effort, just like Wikipedia. You can join Google Map Maker using a gmail account and add features to it. Here is the link:
