this is great news for Greensboro. While the coliseum has hosted many major events such as the ACC tournament and the 1998 NCAA mens bascketball regional games, the last time the Greensboro Coliseum host a major national sports event was when the city hosted the 1974 Men's Final Four.

More than 4,000 skaters, coaches, trainers, media members and fans are expected to come to Greensboro for the eight-day spectacle. Greensboro beat out Kansas City, MO for the championship games.
