Lovely! Did the Messeturm in Frankfurt copy it? They look so similar!

I give it 9/10 mostly because he is iconic there and because of the inside of Méridien Hotel :colgate:

Lyon has got to have the funniest looking skyline in the world. :D It's as if Big Brother took over Lyon and shipped his headquarters from Atlanta and dropped it right smack dab in the middle of Lyon!

8/10. Round building with square top. Cool and creative. I would love to see it in a dense slyline, as one of the less taller ones, like maybe 3rd tallest or something. Who knows, maybe if I get really good and Photoshop is running.

il semble que ce pics soit pris de Fourvière comme la plupart des clichés du CL

Il serait sympa de prendre cette tour de l'autre côté avec en fond la colline de fourvière pour donner une idée des hauteurs relatives lyonnaises.

Sur ces pics le crayon fait très Texas comme Downtown Houston sortant du dessert, mais cette tour est relativement peu haute face au relief naturel de Lyon. Cela pourrait aider à la faire plus apprecier par les Highrisephobiques et donné une meilleur idée de la ligne d'horizon lyonnaise.

Great tower

10/10, this one is awesome. When I first came across it, I was attached.

7/10 from me.
Even though it's a nice tower and interesting shape, I have something against it, I don't know if it's the color, the top, or if it's too wide or too short.
But still pretty nice compared to the other skyscrapers in Lyon

The Roof @ the tower looks a bit on the Messeturm roof in Frankfurt..as the Messiah said. I tink it's a nice tower..only very lonely:'(:P 8/10

I remember this building .. coz i saw the skyline pic of Lyon and this is the only one building stands out frome the skyline !!!

Do you want my honest opinion? I think it's fucking hideous. All these people calling it "beautiful" obviously need their eyes testing. How can a dull brown ugly facade be called "beautiful"? If you want beauty then look at such wonders as the Chrysler Building, Taj Mahal, Salisbury Cathedral, etc. They are worth 10.

This ugly brown 70s pencil, on the other hand, is worth 4/10.

I didn't know there was a hotel on the last floors and I liked the way they do it.The problem with the exterior of the building is the top that doesn't fit well with the circular shape that building has.

So ugly, the inside looks better than the outside :ohno: and that cone/pyramid thing makes it look so bad!! imho it would look alot better without it.


I rate this tower 4/10 only because of the height and the interior.
