I think it is 99% sure that the Tingis Towers are going to be build, but we don't know what design they will choose..

Some information that I got from the developer:

“Tanger Tingis Towers”. I inform you that this project is currently on hold and the developer is a joint venture between two Moroccan companies.

Tingis Mall is been build at Ghandouri.
Tingis Towers are been build near the boulevard.
I don't know how many shops their are in the Tingis Towers, the project is still on hold.

They are preparing tangier to be an international city, with more business and tourisme kind of like hong kong but I don't think Tangier is big enough for that!

Is this project on hold? I have emailed the contact person of this project 3 months ago but he didn't reply.

je pense pas qu'ils on prépare le terrain!! il ya tjr des bâtiments la bas!

Ils vont encore attendre 10ans, ça va encore être démodé quad ils vont construire ça.
On sera passé à autre chose, à des tours solaires avec une éolioene au milieu !

Ashraf the plot of Tingis Towers is hands of Abra Pro and an foreign company, they are going to build the project and according to ID International the project is on hold.
I send Abra Pro a couple months ago and ID International an email, but I didn't get any reaction.

Someone needs to send Abra pro an email in French..

Abra-Pro hasn't decided yet which design they should build.
I got this response from one of the architects:
According to him Abra-Pro is now in a decision phase to decide which design they will approve.

J'esperes qu'ils choisiront aucun des deux, il y a déja trop de béton à Tanger, ou qu'il fasse des tours plus petites mais en verre...^^

Je préferes une petite tour de 20 étage en verre (comme la tour MT de Rabat) , qu'un gros bloc de béton moche et polluant...

On vont encore choisir le design le plus abjecte, vous verrez ils vont choisir certainement les 3 barres d'hlm avec des carres partout... rien que d'y penser :puke:

ils vont garder les deux anciens bâtiments, ça c'est une bonne chose,c triste de voir les gens démolir du patrimoine pour mettre des blocs de béton a sa place.
