It looks right they did a great job at postmodernism, however I like many more towers in Dallas than this one.

Gets points for doing a respectful job of looking Parisian or something, but loses points for trying in the first place, it just doesn't look right. The shorter buildings to its right though look great.

I like the castle-effect, and its over-exaggerated sense of importance bordering on the mildly repulsive.
finn January 14th, 2004, 02:12 AM If this tower was completed in 2000 then they should have gone for a more contemporary design - why attempt to copy the past when the context of the design is so different to when this style would have been considered "original"?
Post modernism ended in most places around the world in the late 80's/early 90's - but at least it looks like a quality building, so it can have a mediocre score (as opposed to a bad one). 5/10.

SChristopher October 22nd, 2004, 11:10 PM That is a little gaudy and I dont know why Texas thinks they can get away with hi-jacking architecture from different cultures and mixing it with 80's 'everythings bigger in Texas' architecture.
