I have no idea (haven't visited that place for a long time)......but I know it is at Lorong Dungun. ;)

I'm pretty impress with the clustering there..feels like entering a totally different city when I was touring HELP Institute at that time ;)

yea....this cluster is especially impressive when viewed from the highway coming from Bangsar towards KL (next to Menara Milliennium) ;)

I'll try to get some pix of the cluster from Millennium Tower, or to be exact, where the Dispersal Link (SPRINT) turns towards that area...

Got pix ar? I passed by that area many times..but always no camera with me :bash:

BTW, the building looks decent :)

I'm not too sure what the name of that new building (with the arrow pointed at) is... However, the crane has disappeared...

That block should be completed before the 4th quarter of the year!

My gf studies at the HELP Institute just next door to that building...

When i go out with her for lunch and then drop her back, i'll try to get shots of the building... I think its nearly completed already...

Nope.....what you see is all Bangsar because Bukit Damansara would be blocked by Bukit Persekutuan and Bukit Bangsar. Unless there is a tall building there then can see lah :D

Contessa Condominium: Friction between owners and management

TEMPERS flared and harsh words were exchanged between some Contessa Condominium owners in Bangsar and their management company even before the first annual general meeting (AGM) of the property could get under way.

The first AGM for the 54-unit owners, who occupied the property comprising an eight-storey block in 1995, was to begin about 2pm at Contessa’s multi-purpose hall when the management company, Contessa Management Sdn Bhd, announced that all unit owners had to pay up their outstanding dues first.

Apparently, the owners each owed the company monthly maintenance fees between RM471 and RM943; plus the painting fund at RM8,000 per household.

Only if their individual accounts were updated, would they be “allowed to attend the AGM”.

As a result, there was a heated exchange of words between some owners and staff of the management company on these issues.

A few owners were stopped from entering the hall but could do so eventually, if the company found them to be legitimate.

An owner, who preferred anonymity, said: “The voting exercise was to form a new Joint Management Body to manage our 14-year-old property. We queried them on the reason for the presence of a consultant and the developer’s son, a lawyer, at the meeting.”

Besides, the condominium owners also wanted to choose one from among them to be the chairman of the meeting. But that did not materialise.

“We noticed that the developer’s representatives had two hands raised, with the result showing 13 hands for us and 14 for them and we queried them as we didn’t know who the rightful unit owners were.

“When we did not get any answers, we walked off and met City Hall’s Commissioner of Buildings officers at 3.30pm. They met the two parties privately and adjourned the meeting until next week,” said the owner, who has been living there for more than three years.

The owners of the condominium units are among many others who have in the past been urging the authorities to review the Building and Common Property Maintenance and Management Act 663 (enforced in 2007), arguing that it does not give adequate protection to high-rise dwellers.

Finding Korean food in Bangsar

Despite the name, the food at Zen BBQ is not just the barbecued kind.

BLOGGER Feedmelah recently dined with a few friends at a Korean BBQ restaurant called Zen BBQ at Bangsar, which was suggested by a friend.

It is in the row of restaurants that have populated the Jalan Ara stretch now more commonly known as One Bangsar.

Look out for the sign of the restaurant as Feedmelah! somehow missed it (either the sign was smaller compared to the others nearby or he was just a bit blur) at first.

The place has a modern feel and is quite comfortable for small or large groups of people, he notes.

“The only problem that I found was trying to squeeze in all the food on the table.

“As with many other Korean restaurants around, you would expect them to have a variety of re-fillable starters. Of course, this place did not disappoint us – there was plenty of variety including the must-have when eating Korean BBQ, a side of kimchi.

“What I particularly like about this restaurant is the freshness of the ingredients. As you can tell from the shot of the vegetables, it is definitely one of the places that serves not only your greens, but also carrot and cucumber sticks to munch on.

“Besides having BBQ meats, there is a range of other items on the menu. We decided to give their soups a try.”

Ginseng Chicken Soup

They started off with a simple chicken soup, which had some porridge at the bottom.

“It was an interesting start to the meal, to say the least,” writes the blogger. “Then we continued with a kimchi soup which, as you would expect, had a satisfying degree of spicyness.

“Next was a huge serving of Bul Go Gi. Here, for RM55, you get pan-fried thinly-sliced beef and vegetables that have been seasoned with sweet soy sauce and pear juice. This goes well with a bowl or two of plain rice.

“As in a few other Korean restaurants, one of the staff would help to cook the meats in front of you. At Zen BBQ, you get a wide variety of meats to choose from, including Sang Gal Bi (fresh spare ribs), Deung Sim (fresh ribeye) and So Hye (fresh ox tongue).

“After the meal, we were served a complimentary dessert of shaved ice and a mixture of preserved fruits and red beans.”

Zen BBQ is located at 63G-G One Bangsar, Jalan Ara, Bangsar Baru. It is non-halal.
