Found a small article confirming the tower & 44 floors (at the end):
A 44-storeyed tower is being built to house the banks headquarters. The building is at the design stage, said the CE.

Wowww cool find guys! I hope this is the final design... the plot is a V-shape a bit like what appears on this render.. that's a good sign!!:)

Well, the plot says 1 tower, and in the render there are twin towers. I wonder if it is the same or not.

I still have to say that it's one of my favourite designs of all time.

They shouldnt have allowed a plot to be placed there, but this just screams money.

This tower is really going up! I think it will look amazing because of its color, shape, and location right beside the landmark towers of the Palms, Qatar Tower, Bidaa, and future Jassimiya.

There were 13 stories including parking levels in January 12. Today there are 22. That is an average of 5.8 days per floor. At this rate in 127.6 days well see it topped, which is in 4.3 months! :)

It is in a hidden location near Ezdan hotel, but I can't recall seeing a building related to Woqood close to it. Maybe Weld el Dafna can clear our doubts.

actually, it's not woqod petrol station itself, it's the minimarket, Sidra, that located at every woqod petrol station.
in yesterday's papers, the CEO of woqod said that they're planning to open Sidra branches in various locations of Doha, including woqod tower & Education city.
