Merci pour tes photos. Je suis aller a Cape Town pendant quelque temps et c'etait genial, j'ai adorer. Alors tes photos me rapelles tout les endroits ou j'ai pu aller.

Ouip. Je trouve simplement dommage que l'afrikaans, dérivé du hollandais, y soit apparemment de moins en moins parlé :ohno:. Je ne suis pas un adversaire résolu de la mondialisation à l'anglo-saxonne, mais certains de ces effets indésirables m'énervent. Enfin c'est un autre débat.

je conseil à tous de visiter le magnifique pays qui est l'Afrique du Sud et la région du cap en raison de son histoire avec les français. Et n'oubliez pas que le prochain année, la coupe du monde de football auront lieu avec des paysages spectaculaires comme un arrière-plan.

Aujourd'hui, 20 % des Afrikaners portent des noms français : Du Plessis, de Villiers, du Toit, Joubert, Malan, Terreblanche ou Marais. Certains de ces patronymes se sont mutés en De Klerk pour Leclerc, Pienaar pour Pinard, Viljoen pour Villon, Retief pour Rétif, etc.

Les fermes et domaines viticoles près du Cap ont également conservé leurs noms d'origine, qu'il soit géographique, comme La Motte (pour La Motte-d'Aigues), L'Ormarin (pour Lourmarin), deux villages du Vaucluse, ou encore La Brie, Picardie, Chamonix, etc., religieux, comme Bethléem, ou plus anecdotique, comme Plaisir de Merle ou La Concorde…

Le petit musée huguenot de Franschhoek montre bien la persistance de la influence et se plaît à souligner l'abondance des noms français dans la politique, la finance, ou encore le rugby.
