The Royal Saladaeng is the latest residential project that is developing by Harrison Property; one of the leading hi-rise developer in Thailand.
The project will contains only 71 most luxurious residential units in Silom area, rise 32-storey tall, It's also one of the tallest residential Tower in Soi Saladaeng ( 12-storey taller than its newest neighbor ; Silom Grand Terrace which situated only a few yards away )
Site clearing is now underway, and expected to be finished within 2 years from now.

it's good. Silom needs more taller residential buildings since most tall residential bldgs. tend to be only around Sukhumvit or Chao Phraya.
The project will contains only 71 most luxurious residential units in Silom area
so it must be very luxury then.:)

looking at the photos, Saladaeng also looks like a nice place to live with many trees.:)

Very good news. This tower looks a little like The Park Chidlom.

That area is denser than I thought and I'm surprised they can build so tall in the soi since Silom Grand Terrace is so short. Anyhow, I'm not complaining :okay:

Since Silom Grand Terrace located in Saladaeng Soi 2 which is quite smaller than The Soi that Royal Saladaeng situated at, thats the reason why it can be taller....:)

Good they are not on the same soi as they look too different from each other to be lined up wall to wall on the view. One being behind as it seems to be then is another matter... should make the soi look better... more consistent.

Did that make any sense? :eat:

Yes,Exactly.Trump Tower will be the tallest building here in Toronto if it done. I hope they are going to start soon. I would say Trump's rendering is more brighter and sparkle than the Royal Saladang.

and yeh seems Art Deco is the thing in BKK architecture right now.. judging by the spires of these new higrise apartments.

HI - new to this forum :)

I live on Soi Saladaeng 2, so I can see Silom Grand Terrace building under construction (but apparently all units sold). I also know where The Legend is being constructed (just around the corner with units available). But where exactly is The Royal??

I rent an apartment right now in Saladaeng but want to buy a unit. Grand Terrace is much preferred but it looks like I'm out of luck. The Legend is fine, just maybe 200 metres to all the shops. But I want to see if The Royal is a better location.

Thanks to anyone who can tell me exactly which Saladaeng soi it is located on.

nice rendering.. the building + spire looks almost as tall, if not taller than Abdulrahim Place. That means it has to be at least 190m tall - quite tall for a 32 storey building?

Looks spectacular in that rendering. But I hope they didnt reduce the number of floors.. even if we are just talking about three floors I am getting tired of all the times we hear the heights being reduced :sleepy:

projects should cover more than 13,000 sq.m of salable area and might had problem to pass EIA.... 29 storey is not what had been planned since the beginning??

A friend of mine is planning to buy a unit in The Royal Saladaeng. Well, they are family of three persons and they have shown interest in a ~150 sqm place on the 16th floor, costing about 14 million baht.

So they are looking for something in similar size and price level (or cheaper :D), and in a rather central location. Silom area is preferred but also Wireless, Ploenchit, Sukhumvit up to Emporium.
They would be moving in 1 - 2 years from now.
A decent primary school nearby is a bonus I guess
An important concern is the future value if they want to sell or rent it out.

Which places would you recommend her?

Baan Siri 24 location is marvelous on top of he santuary design, behind The Emporium I cant find anything better than this.

The price is reasonable not too high and would defineitly make a good "re-sale" profit in the future.

yes, prices are rising fast there... but still under Royal Saladaeng's level.

problem is that most of re-sale units are asking nearly same prices, from my experience. But if discount can be done, i think it can be another good alternative.If you are not confident in inspecting yourself, i strongly suggest to use a professional service for tht. Warranty, buyer protection are still at early stage here, and it will be difficult to complain after transaction is done!!

Some well mainained condo projects such as Rafine 24, Noble House in Ruamrudee or even Colonnade in Saladaeng are interesting. But i am not sure oif they are actually asking less than units in new developments as there is still shortage in COMPLETED grade A units.

Okay I see, I'll advise them to use a professional service if they go for a re-sale unit then.

I suppose that for projects that have been sold out but just begun construction, maybe it's no big difference to buying re-sale units compared to being the first owner.

Will there still be a grade A unit shortage in one or two years time?

To have this building tall up, makes this area even more dense and nice.
As building at saladaeng are new and tall. I think dusit tani hotel really
doesn't suit with buildings all around.
Don't they have any plan to renovate or build another tall building like tower B or something?
It will be much better for Silom area I think!

I LIKE that deco shark's fin on top :) makes the building distinctive, with character and easy to pick out from all of the others....

are they also building something on the little corner tucked between Royal Saladaeng and Legend Saladaeng? or a green jungle restaurant?
