Vertigo January 18th, 2004, 12:11 AM Nice building. I'm not too fond of the pale green colour, but the park on the roof is very cool. I've been inside, that looks good too. I also like the idea of the different alphabets on display on the outside.

It's not a church, this building is called Gray Villa

In think this pictures show much ungliness - and I don't think the green facade cover changes it that much. Otherwise you could cover every precast concrete slabs building with plants and than say: Wow- great architecture. It looks very cheap and not even modern. - For a normal building it would be o.k. - but it is the University Library of the Polish capital. Warsaw has much to offer, but this is realy not that great. -- But on the other end -- for the students it will defintily be nice to read inside the green. So - it is not bad. But a 9 or 10? Is this realy the best modern building of Warsaw - I doupt it.
Iluminat November 21st, 2011, 04:39 PM ^^We don't have many buildings in Poland with raw concrete visible on the facade so it's interesting it's also one of the few nice examples of post-modernism on the western level. Anyway you choose some old pictures where it looks half abandoned which is not very objective.
