Hello again, NYC forumers. Continuing with my New York City trip from March 7-9 of this year to see the Rangers game at Madison Square Garden and to see the sights, and managed to take in the Empire State Building, Central Park, Times Square, Museum of Modern Art, NBC Studios, and MSG. I took the bus into Port Authority Bus Terminal. I took so many pictures that I have decided to break it into 3 parts and show a limited number of pictures and redirect to my pbase account website for the rest.

Here's Part 2, with night pictures, and a tour of the MoMA (Museum of Modern Art)...

If you didn't see Part 1, click here: http://www.skyscrapercity.com/showthread.php?t=836262

The hotel I stayed at, the Roosevelt Hotel, looking up...

The Famous Museum of Modern Art, I remember seeing this on an episode of Inspector Gadget and an episode of Family Guy, that's one reason I went there. It is one of the most influential museums in the world.

This is no ordinary collection of furniture...

This would be for the true breakfast enthusiast...

This, to me, really shows the diversity of New York City's architecture at street level...
http://www.pbase.com/jaybird287/image/110627729.jpg

I found this picture rather amusing, yet disturbing at the same level, and the weirdest thing about this, was that it reminded me of that SNL skit "Cluckin' Chicken" from SNL, guess what, I actually saw it the night of on a "Best Of Commercials" show of SNL... how funny is that?
http://www.pbase.com/jaybird287/image/110627730.jpg

This picture needs no description...

Is this building the New York Yacht Club ? Next door to the Sofitel Hotel not far from Times Square......I didn't take a pic of it on my visit but recall nautical window design like the back of a galleon. It also had a wonderful interior...as far as they would let me see anyway - Shouldn't have told him I was from Australia ( Americas Cup and all that ? ).As with your previous pics...they are all fantastic !

I believe if I remember correctly, yes it is. I remember seeing a sign for it.

Barnardgirl, MoMA is quite the place, an art lover's paradise. Yes, I did have a lot of fun on this trip, and the best part is yet to come.

SeattleLife, thanks!

Most museums don't allow photography. I can't believe MOMA allowed it.

BTW, why would anyone eat somewhere like Applebees if they're in NYC? Good grief!
