What do you guys think if they are asking about $1000psf for the penthouse?

Here is the penthouse floorplan (the one on the right - 2734 sqft): http://www.singholdings.com/downloads/Bellerive-FloorPlan-penthouse.pdf

Very interested in thoughts... Cheers

Seems reasonable, only that Keng Chin road is really small and with a number of new developments on that road, you can be sure traffic is really bad. Also noted that the units have a lot of Planter Box spaces. Wasn't there some debate on this planter box thing? Something about developers not being charged for the space but developers being able to charge buyers for it.

Personally I dislike the idea of a pool of water above my living spaces 24/7 365 days a year. The pool is inevitably small. But seems like a default for current developments with penthouses.

Hey thanks for your reply :)

It rains every year in quantities far more than is stored your pool, trust me! :)

The pool is 10x4.5 metres which is actually quite long / wide if you measure it out (I did last night and was surprised). That's one fifth the length of an Olympic pool, or just under the length of a bus. It is an infinity pool so as you swim you look out over the skyline 16 floors up. Very unique! Other penthouses I've seen just have a jacuzzi...

Having done more research in the last couple of days, I think it is really good value given FH, D10, future MRT one street away, top end finishings, and 1km proximity to ACS / SCGS :) I've not seen anything comparable in the area for that price so far, and we've been looking for 6 months (!!)...

Just my two cents :)

are you the buyer that bought this penthouse?

Hi - yes. After much thought we decided it was a good unit and bought it a day or so ago :) We're open to negotiations if someone else is after it :)
