Fueron dadas a conocer por un grupo de arqueólogos peruanos y extranjeros dirigidos por Markus Reindel y Johny Isla, de la Fundación Suiza-Liechtenstein, que investigan el sitio desde 1997, quienes mediante diferentes métodos pudieron constatar que eran más antiguas que las famosas líneas de Nazca y que fueron elaboradas por la Cultura Paracas varios cientos de años antes.

Ellos hallaron mil geoglifos, 650 sitios arqueológicos y construcciones en adobe

^^Ya tenia la dicha de conocer estas maravillas, lo vi en un documental en youtube, me sorprendio ya que pensaba que solo existian las de Nazca, sin embargo estamos en un pais inacavable donde levantas una piedra y encuentras una ruina o un vestigio arqueologico.

Muy interesante, todavía no veo los videos, pero lo haré.

Tenemos muchos recintos arqueológicos desconocidos hasta por los mismos peruanos.

Habìa escuchado al al respecto pero nada mas, como lodije antes, nuestro paìs es un lugar donde hay mucho por descubrir ... o en todo caso redescubrir.

Espero se siga investigando acerca de estos geoglifos y petroglifos, y que se descubran más. Se nota que la zona de petroglifos está llena de rocas, de seguro si se excava se encuentra algo más.

Las nuevas figuras paracas descubiertas en el distrito de ingenio dan muestra del avance de esta antigua cultura. Gracias a la arena que los cubría se han podido mantener durante siglos, en pleno desierto. (2) ¿QUIÉNES SON? Una de las figuras que mejor se aprecia es esta, en donde se muestra dos seres que dan la apariencia de ser siameses.

El Rostro del Inca.
En el Km. 391 de la Panamericana Sur se encuentra esta caprichosa formación rocosa esculpida por los vientos y la erosión eólica que imponente mira y domina todo el valle de Palpa.

En Palapa? ni enterado, pero no me sorprende porque no está muy lejos de Nazca.
