...and the "things on top" are in vogue and to be seen on quite a few new talls in the U.S.. They're fin-like structures for the crown.

Although, the more I look, I like!

It is roof art. On any day with sun the sun will chance the color on the street around it and the building will light up from the top. Looks really cool!

The Wachovia Corp needed more space Uptown and built this tower, a missed opportunity in my opinion.

I rate it a 7. It almost seems like it's half as tall as it should be. The crowning rods/lights look like a quick afterthought. But it still has a classy and quality look about it. Radcliffe on the Green, built at the base of the building is a highly desirable condo community.

Wachovia 3 is too similar in height to the office towers nearby, giving the skyline a scared-off look where it sits. Wachovia didn't want a building to "outshine" or exceed the height of Wachovia 1. Sorry it didn't work. Wachovia 1 is clearly one of the skyline's most uninteresting and wierd buildings. Anything they build afterwards has to be better! :dunno:
