magnificent.

i like that the glass sections are larger in the corner than on the main stands. that gives it something special.

every stadia should have a character and this one has.

Though I dont get this thing with having the stadiums remote from the city. I like to go from the pub to the game, not having to drive or walk for half an hour...

well, since Algiers is overcrowded, the city is expanding very fast. building a stadium like this in downtown wouldn't be good at all. without mentionin' the fact that it will help the suburbs' developement with all the transport facilities, stores etc ... that will come with this stadium.

foundations are the most important part, it may take some time to finish the work, but i'm not worried, the chinese companies always finish on time here in Algeria, otherwise they won't see the color of our money

and btw, it's only been 6 months since they really started working, and the stadium is supposed to be delivered in 29 months ..... so wait and see

Construction cost €100 million
Capacity 60,000

the cost is very low for a 60,000 stadium and also covered, all the European countries should build the stadiums with the Chinese people. they can finish it even in 1 year if you ask them, and they work even in the night.

I don't believe in this cost.

In Oran and Tizi Ouzou, 40 000 and 45 000 stadiums are actually building for 400 millions (nearly) euros each one.

That's more than Allianz Arena... :|

Stadiums in Algeria should be cheaper. Estádio da Luz with 65.647 seats had a cost of only 120 million.

No, The stadium of Oran (40 000) costs € 120 million with some olympic annexes.

The stadium of Tizi-Ouzou (50 000) costs € 340 million but with some annexes and he is built by spanish and algerian companies.

it may not be noticeable, but they are trying to catch up lately.
