omg y is ther so much novelty in knowing somebody from japan??.. whether nihonjin or gaijin they are ppl with same sense of style, taste, sometimes even background.. living in london, i have friends from wherever in the world: chinese, filipino, korean, japanese, ghanaian, carribean, nigerian, english, american, pakistani, thai, arab, malaysian, mauritian, singaporean, indonesian-(wherever they come from!!) friends, NEVER do i take my friends as trophies or living souvenir dolls! inevitably i'm friends of theirs bcoz we share many things in common... maybe alot of the people puttin hype on knowing japanese ppl are those who come from countries where they dont see many other races or nationalities.. well then come live in london :D .. half of the whole world is here LOL

+20, all women, Japanese women seems to be smarter than men. I worked there for a few months, without women they are nothing, the men are to afraid to make radical decissions, unlike there women.

i've encountered several others but i don't know them personally. it's nice cos there's not a lot of japanese here. i'm glad the ones i met are really good ones. left nice impressions.

I just couldn't stop laughing when I read your post. Being a chinese who like travelling around, I have met a lot of f__ked up American around the world, but I wouldn't think every American is the same. I'm pretty sure there are some nice ones out there.
You may have met some really greedy chinese in your life, but they don't represent the rest of the 1.2 billion chinese population.
You know when you are with people with another nationalities, you like to talk about something bad about some other nationalities. This is quite common and doesn't necessarily mean that's universal opinion.

HSBC, I'm one of the nice ones you speak of... I too have met alot of ignorant people in my time but i try to phase out what they say?

As far as japanese...I have met probably 3 at the most. In the House of kobe, the Service attendance and the two cooks by the bar.

Vapour, this may sound very silly but are you Japanese or a foreigner living in Japan?

Anyway, I have some Japanese friends mostly either graffiti writers or DJs. They reside in Osaka.

Here's a pic of them :D

when japanese butcher, aggression, kill, burn, rob, and eating live people

Eating live people? That's a new one.

Before I came to Japan, I only knew about 10 from the neighborhood (suburban New York). Japanese don't seem to congregate in small communities very much... not like Chinatown or Little Italy or anything like that.
