maybe you should make this under 10k. I'd consider that small. There's hardly any "stadiums" under 5k that are at all nice. Most are under 5k for a reason and are just cheap bleachers.

yeah, 5,000 is too small, if you have terracing, only a few steps around the ground are enough to reach that number.

The Weinaupark-Stadion in Zittau, Germany (near the czech and polish border) is maybe not a beautiful stadium as a whole, but it has a very beautiful stand, although rather uncomfortable. Because of terracing, it has a capacity of 10,000. This stand has a capacity of 465 seats.

This is the redeveloped home ground of one of Australias oldest Rugby Leagues clubs, the South Sydney Rabbitohs. The old stand, grassed terraces and surrounding brick walls have been removed and the ground has been opened up to the park next to it
It serves as the clubs training ground and has hosted one pre season trial match. The clubs home ground is now the Sydney olympic stadium (ANZ).
I think this new Redfern oval stand seats around 5000.

Yes, you are all right, stadia with a capacity below 5k are all much too small to be called a decent stadium.
Even 10k still is babysize.
So I'll just go ahead and redefine the thread.
lets post the best stadiums with a capacity under 100k.

And as a compromize for all those that complain I suggest that maybe, but just maybe it might make some sense to go up a little above 5k with the capacity when it's not an all seater stadium. (To also be able to include very small stadia like the Weinaupark-Stadion patrick posted for example)
So as a compromize I would suggest these two limts: below 5k for all seaters and below 7.5k for stadia with terracing. Would that be a reasonable and comparable category we might be able to agree on here???
And maybe it might make sense to open a new thread then, to throw out all the oversized ones and not encouraging people to post larger stadia all the time then and strictly sticking to this "babysize" stadium category. That way we might really be able to end up with athread worth reading. Because this babysize category of stadia is pretty interesting and has several very nice and unique stadia and it would be a pitty if it were spammed up with stadia twice as big a the really small ones.
If we keep posting 10k allseaters.. then we can aso post 15k allseaters or stadia like the Tivoli which are in fact still smaller than the 10k all seater Zimbru Chisinau stadium but since it has only 3560 seats and the rest is terracing it's capacity goes up to 20.800 overall. Those stadia surely aren't comparable with 5k stadia. The Zimbru Chisinau stadium may much better be compared to stadia with a capacity of 20k or 15k stadia instead of 5k.
so I believe these larger stadia definetely should't be in here.

Either change the thread title and move the <5k stadia to a new thread, or move the the >5k stadia to another thread. Many stadiums are below 5k, and the low capacity doesn't mean they can't be interesting for one reason or another.

All High Stadium! Buffalo, NY. Built in 1926 with a capacity of 20,000 renovated in 2006 and reduced to 4,000. We went today to catch FC Buffalo handily defeat New Jersey (NPSL, Amateurs). Amazing little facility, usually used for high school football but makes an excellent venue for soccer, and could be an excellent venue all the way up to USL 1 level.

This Project tries to harmonize the natural slope of the ground with the big leveled platform of the sport field with 9,000 sqm.

The best solution was to place this platform in an intermediate level, allowing to create a floor below the soccer field where all the facilities are located and to use the ground outside to create a garden which kind of closes the outside space.

Colour was used as an attempt to achieve this plasticity and character that reinforce the idea of mass, a heavy mineral mass that was almost sculpted by a knife. This static mass is the scenery where the players move with outstanding Dynamics.
