This is my São Paulo/Sao Paulo, it has a pop of 80.000 and an office labour markert of 700.000 jobs.
A remade it twice, so I could get this one.

First, let start with a zoom out from an area with quite unsual buildings (6 big CO) untill the view of the city.

Thank you guys

:okay:

here are some tips to get really tall buildings:

* 1st - you need to get several cities connected;
* 2nd - Zone just few areas (untill it start so appear some medium towers), so you won't suply the whole demand, what will make the big towers show up.
* 3rd - Landmarks help a looooooooooooooooooooooooot when you get to any saturation point, when the towers start to take to many time to appear, just place a landmark nearby and you'll see, as big and expensive the landmark better will be the influence.
*4th - Plazas and pav. areas also help a lot, but green areas and the others won't help much.
* 5th - You can build cities without "CO" (increase the taxes) and then a city with only "CO's", as "CS" occupies to many lots and has almost no towers.
* 6th - Zone areas with 3x3 and when the demand is really high zone 4x4, this is for "CO" and "R", so if the demand is high and it start to construct a low hise, just demolish it, it may take several buildings to be destroied (1 to 20 times).

Well, in this case specially I built 4 cities with 500.000 to 600.000 on its borders and several others on the area without any CO, so the demand is really high, then the city was full of towers, but only medium and medium/big (3x3) towers, then I started the city again and as the demand was really high, I just modelated the area.

PS. When you were playing the residencial cities you may experience some periods with lots of unemployed buildings, but that's normal, it will happen when the education begin to get high and the need to change the job.

that's it folks.

I dunno, it just seems too cold and unrealistic for my likings.

this city is a pre- BAT, lot editor and modeling, so I didn't have many options to make it more real, and it is gonne as I formated my PC a long time ago.

Try thinking.
The thread is about 3 years old. How long do you think image websites host images for?

Well if they don't host the pictures, they have to be somewhere, where?!?!
