Esta construccion que esta en la Lincoln (Mejor dicho en la Luther king) es identica al Holiday Inn planeado para Santo Domingo ademas de que concuerda con la dirreccion de este futuro hotel... asi que este debe de ser el estado actual de este proyecto... sino es asi borren este thread... pero la similitud es mucha entre la construccion y el render :)

Se ve hermosa la ciudad desde arriba.

Esta cadena es muy buena. Me hospedé en uno de ellos (Holiday Inn Costa Mesa - Orange County Airport) en Orange County, California, en un viaje reciente, y de verdad que no tuve ninguna queja. Le doy un 5 en todo.

Pasé por ahi hace varios dias y está muy bonito! se ve mucho mejor que el render.

A mi en lo personal me gusta. No son colores convencionales tomando en cuenta lo que es típico en el país, y por eso me gusta. Es diferente. :)

Realmente el edificio no es una obra de arte, pero esa cadena representa mucho. Además de que agrega más habitaciones de hotel a esta ciudad, que tenía mucho tiempo sin inaugurar algun nuevo hotel.

Leí el otro día que la apertura a la prensa es el 1ro. de Septiembre y para el público el 1ro. de Octubre pero me parece raro que tarden tanto tiempo cuando ya está listo se puede decir.

En verdad el hotel aunque no tenga la altura k muchos aqui desean, pero si tiene otro tipo d altura, su elegancia y muy moderno creo k uno d los mas k existen en la capital. Y esto es bueno por crea un tipo d competencia con los demas hoteles del area, y d esa forma obliga a mejorar sus intalaciones. Y eso es bn para la cuida, el pais y todos nosotros. Los CourtYard tambien son chulisimo y creanme k eso van hacer los standers para las demas franquicias k quiere ir a RD.

Ya el hotel aparece en la página oficial de Holiday Inn y se pueden hacer reservas, los precios oscilan entre los 125USD$ y los 200USD$ y está aperísimo por dentro y por fuera. Ver fotos en los links que paso porque no he podido subir las fotografías.

MIAMI, (BUSINESS WIRE).- The world's largest hotel group by number of rooms, today announced the opening of the new Holiday Inn Santo Domingo in the Dominican Republic.

This is the first Holiday Inn in Santo Domingo, after a subsidiary operation located in the grounds of the capital’s Hotel Jaragua in the late 1980s and early 1990s.

It is also the first Holiday Inn in the Caribbean to incorporate the brand’s new hallmarks, which is the seal of approval that this hotel exemplifies the standards of the $1 billion Holiday Inn brand relaunch program.

The 7-story, 141-room hotel will open under a management agreement with Inexpress Dominicana, S.A., a sister company of Inverplata S.A., which owns the InterContinental V Centenario Santo Domingo, and as the second IHG property in Santo Domingo.

The Holiday Inn Santo Domingo is located on Avenida Abraham Lincoln, one of the city’s main avenues, also home to embassies and government agencies, as well as headquarters for many multinational companies. It’s located near the Pontifical University (PUCMM), and a myriad of shopping centers, nightclubs, and restaurants.

Today Santo Domingo is considered to be one of the largest economic and commercial hubs in the entire Caribbean, bustling with young entrepreneurs, plenty of opportunities and several new developments all within a strong and financially viable market. It is an enchanting city that melds a contemporary metropolis with an antique European charm and tropical Latin flavors. Ahora ah puesto esa avenida en un lugar de gran importancia para la ciudad..

si, la av. Lincoln se ha convertido en un lugar exclusivo, la mayoria de los restaurantes tienen su sucursal principal ahi, además de que los restaurantes de la lincoln son de máxima calidad.
