When posting others' photographs throughout the forum, it is every forumer's duty to properly credit the photographer and source. Improperly credited photo postings will be deleted by the moderation staff.
If the photographer's name is not available, name the website where the photo was found and link to the page of the site where the photograph is found.
Merely citing Google, Yahoo, Flickr or some other host or search engine is *not* sufficient for your photo post to qualify. If you don't have the required information about a photograph, then don't post it.

Finally you introduced this rule! :okay:
But I think this rule should not be applied on pictures only. With posting newsarticles without giving the source you're violating copyright rules too. Another reason why posting a source is useful is because that way you can check the reliability of the information.

I just viewed this thread.
it is the photographer's duty to put copyright sign + his name on the photo.
Posting linked photo on a non-profit Forum is not copyright violation
you can always know where one got it from by quoting the person who posted it.
I think photos shouldn't be removed unless someone escalates to not wanting their photo (if they ever come here in the first place) linked in here.
