Sorry for the language of this thread.

What are the 100 largest Algerian firms measured by revenues, for the year 2008?

Does Algeria have any industry in electronics manufacture, automotive industry or any hi-tech industry? This is just out of curiousity, I want to know more about your country. Don't take it the wrong way mates.

Cheers!

hi dean i completed the list.
you can find more information on the edition of the french language magazin "jeuneafrique" who edit every year the list of the 500 top african company.
and on this web site:
http://www.algerie-dz.com/forums/economie/12238-classement-des-150-premieres-entreprises-maghrebines.html

and here: http://fr.wikipedia.org/wiki/Liste_d%27entreprises_alg%C3%A9riennes

For the data of the end of 2008, I found them in algerian newspapers with data in dinar which I converted in dollar (1$ = 72,82 Algerian Dinar)

Gee mate, I log in so rarely I never saw your post till now! I apologize.

Thanks a million for your wonderful effort. Magnificent work mate!

Cheers.

PS Yorktown, is there a free ranking available online made by 'jeuneafrique' magazine of the largest african companies? Even if it's in French language, I'd like to take a look at it.

Thanks again.

Yorktown, sorry for bumping this thread up mate, it seems the list for algerian firms in the following link doesn't work anymore.
http://www.algerie-dz.com/forums/economie/12238-classement-des-150-premieres-entreprises-maghrebines.html

The rankings for Moroccan and Tunisian companies are still accessible though.

I remember seeing the Algerian top 100 companies list before, but now can't obtain it.

I was wondering if you have the list available elsewhere. Thanks a million times anyway!

I have no other sources. I gave you a ranking at the top. I looked in the newspapers the last turnover of enterprises. and I looked up in the ranking of the 177 companies in the Maghreb.

the new classification of jeuneafrique is forthcoming.
you can buy it or order it on the internet.
but for now that's all what i find.
and all the figures come from serious newspapers.
