Milan | Portello Area | U/C

The Portello project includes the re-use of the industrial site formerly occupied by the Lancia and Alfa Romeo car factories near the Milan Fair.
The plan outlines different large scale architectural and landscape episodes that are connected by pedestrian routes over passing the existing infrastructures.
These episodes establish identifiable places such as the fan shaped square surrounded by three office buildings in front of the existing fair building, the bridge that passes Viale Serra, a large urban park surrounded by elevated pedestrian routes that lead to the residential areas and the mixed-use shopping center plaza with a large canopy that ends the sequence in Piazzale Accursio.
The fan shaped square is the starting point of the plan and locates the fair front in a new urban space surrounded by three inclined buildings whose profile is generated by the projection of the fair pediment.

Sembra che i lavori per la passerella stiano iniziando veramente....e mi piace molto l'accostamento fra il timpano di Bellini ed il mezzo timpano di Valle, IMHO una citazione riuscita anche nella realta' , e non solo negli aulici testi architettesi

Il parco è bello e si inserisce molto bene nel contesto.
