Generally, I m searching for night clubs similar to the pacha or the theatro but i dont know marrakech very well so i need some well-known buildings nearby in order to find the clubs better...because an adress like Nouvelle Zone Hoteliere d´Agdal/Boulevard Mohamed VI doesnt say much to me (just as an example, cuz i finally found the pacha) but i dont know where the essadi hotel is situated (theatro) or the Hotel medina & Spa (Actors) or the Palmeraie Golf Palace & Resort (le palace)...in order to avoid more spam like this send me a PM pls :) thanks
and google earth isnt a very good help for me...

It would look exotic indeed, but in other terms, it would only be a smaller version of "Dubai". I'd rather opt for classical-architecture orientated highrises in Marrakech, something that would be unique worldwide, keep the modern ones for the other cities, mainly Casablanca :)

I was always told that in marrakech its so that no building obscures the view of the koutoubia and so that the koutoubia is taller than all other buildings, however recently I was also told that its because the ground in the marrakech area cannot support the weight of a tall building and subsidence might occur???

La majorité des immeubles font 5 étages en effet, mais certains font plus. Il y a un immeuble de 8 étages en construction pas loin du jardin Ibn Zaydoun. Il y a aussi les immeubles d'Islane qui font 10 étages. L'hotel Anzi et l'immeuble Sabrim qui font 10 étages aussi.

Pour Marrakech, si on prend l'exemple de la cathédrale avec le mot que le Monsieur a paumé (:D) : C'est sûrement pour garder une bonne vision sur le Minaret de la mosquée de la Koutoubia, que l'on peut voir à partir de plusieurs endroits de la ville.

Je reprends : Si on voit pas de buildings à Rabat et Casablanca, on en voit à Tanger. N'est-ce pas?

La construction à Tanger je se porte bien. On voit des immeubles de 15 étages et plus prendre part au paysage urbain ça et là. C'est une bonne chose pour la ville. On aimerait voir ça ailleurs maintenant !

Pareil, les buildings de Tanger ne sont pas des Buildings digne de ce nom, des tours de 10 etages en béton moche c'est pas un building pour moi ça...

Dans ce cas, les tours HLM que l'on voit en France sont aussi des buildings...

Le pire c'est qu'ils ont placé ça dans la corniche face à l'Europe , les responsables de cela mérite perpétuité...

La tour de Rabat maroc telecom, 20 etage en verre ça c'est un building:)

Si tu attends à ce qu'on construise des gratte ciels def: Immeuble dont la hauteur est très importante à la new yorkaise ,il va falloir prendre ton mal en patience voire c'est peine perdue.
Sur le reste , on ne peut qu'etre d'accord surtout sur les buildings de Tanger, avec des vitres qui servent de miroir refletant la mer mediterraneenne, aurait été un coup de maitre , mais voila pas de bol. ils ont opté pour le choix le moins esthetique au niveau architecture et le plus couteux au niveau de l'entretien : ces dits buildings necessiteront des liftings perpetuelles à l'avenir. Et pour couronner le tout , ils installent ça sur la cote: le comble.
