yep!!all the photos were taking on (21.05.2009), that's what I meant by the "un usual weather" for this time of the year!!

WOW, i've been in Jeddah for 15 years and never heard of the place! :sleepy:
That's it, i've decided I will go camping there next winter, so I can camp in the snow! Do you think there will be snow though? Or is it like an occasional thing?

I've camped in many places in Saudi, mainly Rabigh, Mt.Baldy, Taif wildlife reserve as well as other places in Taif. I camped 5 nights in Taif in December once and there was like a floshflood on the 4th night! :nuts:

But definitely the best location in ALL of Saudi, is Masturah, OMG the dunes there are incredible, I have never seen anythng like it. Overlooking the masturah sand dunes at sunset is one thing everyone should do before they die.

if you need to have a proper snow camping you need to camp on Tabuk's mountains in January (it snows there almost every year) ;)
