I lived in the vicinity of this city for some years and can say in all that time it only snowed (heavily) twice. The first week of April usually seemed very soggy/wet and I recall one August the temperatures soared easily above 90 degrees.

In 1000 years the whole planet will probably be a skyline, if we're still around. So maybe this thread will be like a momento of a half-forgotten age? :lol:

Superb photos. I have never heard about this place. Seems to be very interesting place.
