very interesting update. some projects are too plain (typical modern dutch architecture) but some are quite cool.

Which are plain in your opinion?

Btw: Where are you from? And can you show us some pics of modern architecture from your country? I'm very interested...

Great projects. The Prinsenhof strikes me as a bit plain and overly repetetive, and I'm not sure about 'Monarch'. The rest though is absolutely fantastic, especially the Ministries towers and Het Strijkijzer.

Construction on Het Strijkijzer (Rijswijksepleintoren) will start this wednesday already!

The Prinsenhof complex (few towers >100 m.) are going well... het Strijkijzer (132 m.) has started construction but seems to be on hold :(...

La Fenetre (70 m.) is a few floors above ground, and the two towers for the ministries (140 m.) will start construction this year.

Okay, some things:

The ministries will both be (rounded down) 147m. The Strijkijzer will be 133m and the Sigma Center next to it (or attached to it, it's a lowrise in the pics) is proposed as 95m. Also the Prinsenhof is not just 3x +70m and 1x 128m but 4x +70m and 3x +50. Also not 100% sure but the Wijnhavenkwartier residential tower is lifted to +130m. Also the Grotiustowers (100m) gets a building of +60m connected to it with a airbridge. And there are a lot of other proposed and approved highrise projects (like Babylon, +140m and Rem Koolhaas's design on top of the central station). The Hague's will surely rock in the future, however it won't have much value as Northsea Jazz Festival's moving to Rotterdam :'( i really hope they get a chance to stop it and keep it in The Hague, cause it's a pure Hague event. Also here's an update by Michiel of Calandria (wich is looking quite nicely):

http://www.xs4all.nl/~mpdijk/denhaag/img/calandria2.jpg

Also an update pic of the design for the residential in Wijnhavenkwartier:

http://www.xs4all.nl/~mpdijk/denhaag/img/wijnhavenwoontoren.jpg

The HBG tower is also still proposed, 72m wich will be built above a highway:

http://www.xs4all.nl/~mpdijk/denhaag/img/hbgtower.jpg

For the ppl who're interested, this is an impression of the +140m Babylon tower and the second tower of 95m:

http://www.xs4all.nl/~mpdijk/denhaag/img/nieuwbabylon.jpg

There's more exciting architecture going on like Rem Koolhaas's 80-100m design and the Blob etc.
