The Maciachini Center is based on a project of total requalification of the former Carlo Erba area.
The concept which inspires the whole requalification is the idea of a polyfunctional park with buros, commercial and recreational areas, multiethnic restaurants, a big fitness center, cultural activities (among them an open-air theatre and the Puppet Museum), a congress centre, shops and other services. Moreover, the business park will have large green areas with fountains, streets and squares, in order to give to its visitors a nice sensation of space, quietness and safety.
The aim is to create an harmonic milieu not only inside the business park, but also in the perimeter roads, for which it is planned an improvement of the aspect of the city: in cooperation with the authorities it was decided the creation of a bike track, the elimination of the ironed ways and the construction of a square.
Work, live, create: three concepts which are the heart of the project of the Maciachini Centre to renovate the idea of the business space.
The planning of the complex is aimed at the user’s satisfaction, through flexible and comfortable job spaces: so the buildings are characterized by stone and metal facades, modular and efficient plants, big and bright spaces, excellent systems of connection and high-quality design with a great functionality.
A great importance is also given to safety and technology which are fundamental themes of the project.

I'm new in this forum and I'm really impressed by this project...woow, what amazing pictures!!!

I'm visiting Milan in three weeks and I would like to know if this project is finished and where it's located (how to get to it).

I have more doubts about other projects from Milan I've seen online but I don't know if they're already finished...I would be very pleased of receiving any information about this project (it it's finished or not, location...) and other modern buildings from Milan you could give me : )
