US President Barack Obama walks in front of the Sphinx during a tour of the Great Pyramids of Giza on June 4, 2009. Egyptian antiquities supremo Zahi Hawass guided Obama around the world-famous pyramids following "unprecedented preparations and security arrangements," state news agency MENA quoted Hawass as saying.
whizz_pat June 6th, 2009, 08:47 AM I heard that they redid entire sections of Cairo University just for his 8 hour visit.

Looks like he had part of Giza all to himself that morning.
Him and his myriad of bodyguards.

mike7743 June 9th, 2009, 05:59 PM nice pictures. I bet the secret service had a hard time trying to secure the area. they travel with a small army and enough fire power but it's nice to see the locals doing a fine job as well.

Yeah they were good, don't worry our secret service is amazing too, after all our president did survive six assassination attempts, and he wasnt shot in any one of them

I can't believe this thread, I can't even stand those mubarak pictures it's been ages since I saw his face :puke:
I wonder if obama is going to visit Egypt anytime soon, perhaps he'll visit tahrir square :) and with less of those forces. SMH! what was all that for?

Hilary Clinton was the first to visit tahrir square.. Fastly she was insulted
xAbd0o July 11th, 2011, 01:39 AM :lol: in English? or did her personal interpreter translate it for her :lol:
Montrealers July 11th, 2011, 01:47 AM I guess it was some harsh egyptian insul hard to translate

Good. I hope she never visits again, nor Obama. It was US tear gas that was used on the protesters, and US bullets that was used to kill them. Hilary and Obama are responsible for Mubarak's rule, his actions. Those hypocrites have no place in Tahrir square and people should throw stones on them if they show up.
