I like the concept of building a Tower on the rail station. The design is a bit cold (too plain) but overall nice building and nice shape.
8/10 (very generous today)

Very original building, Kind of Landmark for Lille, tallest too.
It's nicknamed the "chaussure de Ski" (ski shoe).
A second identical tower was planned but never built I think.

I like it's pale green color, but I dunno, there's a little something I don't like about it . I think I prefer ti's much more classical neighbor.

I give it a 7.

j'aime beaucoup d'ailleurs j'adore ce que fait portzamparc ! presque tout ! son architecture fait très bc bg ! très chic !il ne faut pas oublier que sa femme est elle aussi une éminente architecte, ils font les projets à deux je crois !

I'm feeling generous as its an ugly building with the only saving grace that I assume the "L" shape massing stands for Lille, and perhaps that is considered witty and provides a sense of place. Lets hope we don't see too many more alphabet buildings in the future!

I don't know why but sometimes I like it and sometimes I hate this buiding :nuts:

I can only describe it as 'fascinatingly ugly'. It's almost like a return to the brutalist conceptual designs of the 70's. I'd give it 7/10, mainly for the sake of intest and ability to provoke thought....

I've seen this tower too, also on holiday when we went do Disneyland Paris avec le TGV (Rotterdam-Paris). Nice tower, nice setting. 8,5/10. On the first pic I can see where I've stand for a while a few years ago.

Cette tour est pas mal.

Son une structure très unique, mais la façade est un sondage de peu, mais I son une belle tour. 7/10 :)
