you guys may have the biggest billboards but nigeria definetly has the most. i wish they could take some down.

Pardon me,I was mislead by the "Sub Saharan Africa".I wholeheartedly agree qymekkam,too many billboards end up creating cluster in the city centre.I wish African cities would embrace the far more aestethically pleasing billboards like say LED kind.Joburg has a few but they are mounted on the crown of buildings...tsk tsk.

the other thing i dont like about billboards in africa or at least nigeria is that after driving for 30 seconds you will see the exact same billboard from half mile ago, and it keeps going on like that. the last time i visited Nigeria i remember saying there must be a billboard every 10 or 20 meters. Nigeria is advertising crazy.
