Hey knut73icebear, I did not understand a word you just said! You need to make more sense! And I did ask ausie nicely! Why don't you start making models? All you have to do is get on paint and just start to draw the building(s) and then that's how you create a paper model! Or you can also ask Rei how to make a paper model!

Ausie don't listen to them, you are here cause you like making paper models and share them with others....You are not abligated to anyone's opinion and shouldn't care about it either!

yeah you r right rei, i do prefer your models to mine but still it is a bit rude of dimka to say that, we do this stuff cause we want to not because its our job and we don't get paid or anything for it(not that i am asking to get paid) so you should'n't have an expectation for quality of models, a paper model is a paper model no mqatter what way you look at it even if it is really crap, if you want better do it ur self.

unfortunately i actually deleted the models when i read the post from dimka so i will have to try to find backup copies of them. in the mean time i am willing to take requests. please keep them simnple. i am trying to finish my new 3d building and i am creating a city to place them all in

Could you please clarify what you mean that "it doesn't show the whole model"? My assumption is that you don't have and Adobe reader, and therefore the only image you can view on the PC you use is the first link, and you are too short sighted, impatient or simple to figure out how to download the reader. amirite? I've converted it into PNG format, and scaled it to 1:1700 (roughly)
The bottom of the base doesn't fit on A4 Letter so I cut it.

All I did was rearrange and resize parts, I take no credit for the designing or drawing of this model and release these pages under creative commons license, to share and share alike.

i may not build many more models for a little while as i am trying a something very difficult and time consuming, will be a big surprise and fit the skyline very well.

so unless it is a simple model i may not build it foir maybe about two weeks

Well I am now leaving las vegas, and there is a megaresort going up right now called citycenter. It would make an excellent paper model, and 3 out of the 6 buildings have almost 100% curved in all directions. Check it out! The aria, vdara, and harmon are curved; mandarin oriental, veer east, and veer west are not, but they would also complete the project. The very difficult part of it would be the crystals retail center.

This is great, free versions of them!

do you know the name of the chemical that was spilled?

this year in science we are using chemicals second semester (feburary-june) and if you wear contacts and you accidentally get chemicals in your eye, the teacher said in some cases the chemical will melt the plastic of the contacts and fuse it to your eye. ...that makes me cringe just thinking about it...

yes but i won't be able to walk for two more weeks and they are in bandages, the skin got eaten away from the acid so i have to keep them in bandages for about 5 weeks they said

That is a really great idea improving models Ausie.
Personally I think the building looks much better now, it looks more 3 dimentional with the dark brown colour in the set backs.

ngfc and obp are both officially on-hold, i liked making the tacoma narrows bridge recently so i am going to continue with another bridge, this'll probs be the last bridge for a while unless you want me to make any special ones, i am going to make sydney harbour bridge, most amazing bridge i've ever seen and its from my own country too. i have got the entire road deck done already but this time i will completely build it and post photos before posting the model. i'll only post the model if you want me to, i'll post pics regardless. the entire road span i will make is 615m long so about 36cm long, i won't do the aproach spans unless it think they should be done

thanks everyone, heres what the road-deck will for harbour bridge, the lanes are set for the afternoon peak hour traffic with two lanes heading to the cbd and four lanes heading towards north sydney, there is abus lane heading into the city and a set of railway lines on the other side, massive roadspan compared to the tacoma narrows bridge, over twice as wide, although, it is not thick so there will be two parts to glue together for the top and bottom views, here is the top part i have built the entire road-deck and columns but a few problems with the other parts so trouble shooting atm:ohno:

i have finished the federation tower complex now but i am really bad at building models, in one of the pics the spire fell to the side cause i had just applied the glue oops! the picture in the background is apanorama of sydney at dusk taken by yours truely, its about 1m long and is a 360degree pan. i did a day one too. which is on top of half it at the moment.

sorry uni accident today in the lab, the teacher dropped a very big beaker full of acid and it went every where, i have massive burns up my legs now and am in hospital, i got an internet connection here but it means the model won't be posted for a few days now, so very sorry, i am supposed to get out of hospital in 3 days
