As we know that mobile communication plays quite an important role not only in the daily life but also commercial area. Good network will surely improve the quality of life and the efficiency of business. You are warmly welcom to share your ideas or comment on the service of the significant operators in Nigeria. Please give your comments refering to the folowing points:

1. Network coverage--Does it cover widely or many places are out of network. Coverage can tell the density of base station sites.

2. Drop calls -- Do you often meet the situation of drop calls? More drop calls means the signal radiation is not strong enough. There is something to do with the antennas.

3. Too much noise during call conversation?--It also has something to do with the radiation antennas on the towers.

4. Service & rates, Etc.

As I am working in a professional base station antenna manufacturer located in China, I am very keen on this investigation before arrive in Lagos and meet the operators. Let's make our communication better, and together!

That is not a substantial reason to like a network from my own point of views. The facilities and services provided by the networks are better measures.

Zain is Celtel (which used to be VMobile or Vodacom Nigeria, after it started off operations as Econet), and might change its identity again, since Zain is reportedly currently in discussions to divest its African operations.

Zain is majority-owned by Mo Ibrahim, but while Glo is 100% Nigerian-owned (by Mike Adenuga), all of the other major GSM players (MTN and Etisalat) also have minority Nigerian holdings.

That is not a substantial reason to like a network from my own point of views. The facilities and services provided by the networks are better measures.

Also the other reason why I urge Nigerians to use Glo is because, MTN which is one of the largest companies in Africa, gets a sizeable chunk of its money from Nigeria, I would like to see Glo a Nigerian company become the largest Telecommunications company in Africa and the Middle East. It would be a good icon for Nigeria and it is 100% beneficial. Even if Glo might not have the best service if people support it it will inevitably improve.

If the Glo really wants to make it big in the market that would depend on the nature of facitlities, services and products it is willing to provide.

not nessicarily true. it depends on your opinion. i hate google, ipods, walmart, and somewhat dislike mcdonalds. i prefer yahoo, zunes, target, and burger king. to me those are the best of there kind yet there not at the top. all the ones i hate, just so happen to be the most sucessful of there kind.
