Muy bonito, especialmente el gazebo. Es de los más originales y bonitos que he visto.

La verdad que hay cosas que se ven en todas las islas antillanas hispanas, principalmente el diseño y la arquitectura de los cascos urbanos.

Se expande Ralph’s
Abre hoy el supermercado 12 en Río Grande

Con una inversión que alcanza los $4 millones, hoy abre sus puertas el supermercado Ralph’s Food Warehouse en Río Grande, convirtiéndose así en el establecimiento número 12 de esta cadena local.

El negocio, que ubica en el Río Grande Shopping Center en la carretera #3 en el Barrio Guzmán Abajo, cuenta con 72,500 pies cuadrados, en los que, además de los tradicionales departamentos de un supermercado hay una cafetería, servicio de lotería electrónica y Western Union.

Además, éste es el primer Ralph's Food Warehouse que cuenta con facilidades de farmacia, indicó Rafael (Ralph) Soto, fundador de la cadena.

La tienda empleará a 240 personas y operará de lunes a sábado de 7:00 a.m. a 10:00 p.m. y los domingos de 11:00 a.m. a 5:00 p.m.

El diseño de este establecimiento atiende uno de los problemas principales de los supermercados: los costos de energía. Hace uso de la luz solar a través de la instalación de tragaluces en el almacén y el área de ventas, además de sistemas que reducen el consumo energético y protegen el ambiente.

Rio Grande es un pueblo muy bonito, pero el area de la PR3 debería estar mas bonita por el hecho de ser un pueblo turístico. Esos postes de luz deberían soterrarze y mejorar el landscaping.

Este proyecto fue completado en el 2009. Consta de un edificio de 11 niveles y 120 unidades de vivienda. Nunca tuvo thread.
