German Developers Invest Over AED 700Million in Majan at Downtown Dubailand

Dubai: 13 December 2006- Mizin, the real estate development company of
Tatweer, today announced German investor Steuruerlehgrang DE FZ LLC has
committed over AED 700 million in Majan, the downtown of Dubailand, to
develop the world’s seventh largest hotel, ‘Conference and Convention Hotel
Dubailand’.
The 1,050 room facility, developed over a built up area of 450,000 sq ft, will
be the tallest 4 star hotel in the region and will include one of the largest
ballrooms in the Middle East.
Sami al Hashmi, CEO of Mizin said: “We are happy to welcome
Steuruerlehgrang to Majan. The investment confirms the high interest
generated by Majan among leading regional and international investors. It
also validates Majan’s rapidly growing profile as a development drawing
some of the biggest and best investors, while significantly contributing to
Dubai’s reputation as a home for world class projects.”
Located on the Dubai Emirates Road, the ‘Conference and Convention Hotel
