Fire & Water garden is a beautiful green area that was opened in Tehran last week. The garden is located right on top of the Abbas Abad Hills.
The mayor of Tehran in his speeches during the opening ceremony talked about the major plan that he has for the remainder of the available space on the hills that will turn into a huge commercial, recreational area within two years.

Yes, I have marked the exact area with blue- They should beuild a huge mall on the empty side of the hill... or even better a huge theme park with roller coasters right in the center of the city and accessible by subway..

Managing director of Abbasabad Lands Rehabilitation Company announced that the Solar System Park is to demonstrate travels through the Solar System, adding, “The first phase of the project has been passed and the second phase is being planned.”

Behnam Atabaki told SAMA that the park is located over 11,000 square meters along the southern rim of Hemmat Highway and will be home to a big globe with a diameter of 30 m where space travel will be demonstrated.
He added that the location of the globe in the southern rim of Hemmat highway will provide the best view from Hemmat, Modarres, and Haqqani highways

I went to this park 4 days ago and it's stunning! you have amazing views over all Tehran highways and Tehran, you can see alll skyscrapers of Elahie, Mirdamad, Asef,.....
it's the best park in tehran for sure!
I saw also that a huge area is still under construction they also have a little pool for baby's wich is cute :D
and it has a wide green area very nice!

it has NO place were you can drink or buy some drink, I went there at 14.00 PM and it was 42° my body was melting! xD

I went to this park too, it gets packed at night. I've gota say its really beautiful. I went up the white building (with alot of difficulties!! due to too many ppl) u also get ppl with their dogs going up the building:lol:

There is a snack bar in the park! they sell ice-creams, tea, water, and soft drinks, etc...

^^that was not there when I was there... also I was there at 14.00, nobody was there at that moment and it was like 40°.....it was somewhere in July...

I went there in august! so it have came recently. it doesn't have any proper shelves or anything and the stall is about a meter under the ground level, so its kinda weird. Not sure it was built for this purpose!

Equestrian Facilities in Central Tehran

With the continuation of operational works of plans designed for Abbasabad area, projects are being completed and put into operation gradually.
Abbasabad area at the center of Tehran is slowly turning into one of the poles for cultural and recreational activities of the city. Now, managing director of Abbasabad Renovation Company reports on the launching of a project for Abbasabad Equestrian Complex.


According to “Shahr”, Behnam Atabaki said: “Abbasabad Equestrian Complex has been put into operation and is ready to receive citizens of Tehran. Facilities have been provided for citizens in the complex to receive horse riding training.”
Atabaki further remarked that along with the accomplishment of major urban development projects, Abbasabad Renovation Company intends to carry out educational and recreational programs among which, launching of the horse riding complex, is an example.
Abbasabad area and facilities planned for it in a span of 560 hectares of land, is considered to be among the most appropriate opportunities for rendering recreational, cultural and sports facilities in one of the main transportation routes of the city.
Pol-e Abrisham, Golestan-e Manzoomeh Shamsi, Boostan-e Norouz, Bagh-e Gol, Bagh-e Honar, Bagh-e Moozeh Defa’a Moqadas are among major projects which are under implementation in Abbasabad area.
Boostan-e Ab-o-Atash and Boostan-e Banader have already been completed and are receiving Tehran citizens.

its been u/c for over two decades, many part were already done, most of it is complete now, there are a few more projects left though, its a massice developement project

there is the national farhangsara building nearly twice the size of the national library (which is beside it) which is maybe 60% done, many parks, museums, canals, telecabins, buildings , congress centres being made, also, baghe ketab is also in that area, its huge, if u look at the region on google maps (satelite) ul see it stretches from mirdamad to the mosalla!!! itsasiivveee!! and haghani metro station is being built aswell

در مرحله اول، معمار طرح نسبت به تهيه طرح معماری جامع زمين*های منطقه عباس آباداقدام نموده، به*گونه*ای كه علاوه بر طرح مصلی، ساختمان*های مربوط به مركز حكومت اسلامی در آن طراحی گرديد. مجموعه اصلی طرح در مركز مجموعه زمين*های منطقه عباس*آباد واقع*شده*است.



طرح جامع معماری مجوعه زمينهای منطقه عباس آباد ترسيم شده توسط معمار طراح
از نقشه ابتدايی معمار طرح،* ماكت اوليه آن، توسط آقای مهندس حسين مظلوم در سال 1371 ساخته و در سال 1372 تكميل گرديد. تصاوير مربوط به اين ماكت درزير آورده شده است



مجموعه اصلی طرح از شمال به بزرگراه رسالت، از جنوب به خيابان شهيد مظلوم آيت*الله دكتر بهشتی، از شرق به خيابان شهيد قنبرزاده و از غرب به بزرگراه شهيد مدرس محدود مي*گردد. اين مجموعه در حال حاضر 650،000مترمربع وسعت دارد كه با احتساب فضای گسترش و توسعه آن محدوده*ای معادل 1.200.000 مترمربع را در برخواهد*گرفت. محور اصلی در طراحی معماری مصلی، جهت قبله مي*باشد و همه اجزا، ابنيه و صحن*ها به تبعيت از اين محور درجهت قبله يا عمود بر آن، قرار گرفته*اند.
همانطور كه قبلاً ذكر گرديد، طراحی معماری و ساخت ماكت نهايی مجموعه، توسط استاد ارجمند جناب آقای دكتر پرويز مويدعهد، انجام پذيرفته است

کتابخانه ملی جمهوری اسلامی ایران ، در زمینی به وسعت 50000 متر مربع ایجاد شده است ، که از سمت شمال به میدان فرهنگ از شرق به باغ علوم و هتل ارم ، از جنوب پس از خیابان کتابخانه ملی و فضای تفرجگاهی به بزرگراه شهید همت و بالاخره از سمت غرب به باغ کتاب و هنرهای ادبی محدود شده است ، این کتابخانه با زیربنایی به وسعت 90000 متر مربع در چهار طبقه روی زمین و سه طبقه در زیرزمین ساخته شده است ، طراحی این فضا نیز بر اساس گنجایش حدوداً چهار میلیون جلد کتاب انجام شده است.

دفتر معماری CAAT که عهده دار طراحی این مجتمع بوده، اطلاعات و تصاویر این مجموعه را در اختیار رسانه ها قرار داده و در قدم اول بسیاری از نگاه ها را معطوف به خود کرده است.



سایت ArchDaily به معرفی پروژه ای پرداخت که معماران آن ایرانی هستند و محل اجرای آن در تهران است. دفتر معماری CAAT که عهده دار طراحی این مجتمع بوده، اطلاعات و تصاویر این مجموعه را در اختیار رسانه ها قرار داده و در قدم اول بسیاری از نگاه ها را معطوف به خود کرده است.




مجتمع رسانه ها یا Media Complex همان طور که از نامش پیداست مجموعه ای است در ارتباط با مدیا. پس استدیو موسیقی، دپارتمان رسانه، استدیو عکاسی، گالری عکس، محلی برای ورک شاپ های آموزشی، دفاتر اداری، رستوران و کافی شاپ و مجموعه ای از فضاهایی است که می توانید در این ساختمان پیدا کنید. بر روی سقف هم یک آمفی تئاتر قرار گرفته است.
«مهدی کامبوزیا» و «هلنا قنبری» به عنوان معماران این مجتمع، آن را در زمینی به مساحت 32,400 متر و با زیربنایی در حدود 4 هزار متر مربع طراحی کرده اند. البته اگر به شناسنامه این پروژه مراجعه کنید نام معماران دیگری را هم که در طراحی این پروژه به همکاری پرداخته اند خواهید یافت.







هنوز شرکت یا مجموعه ای به عنوان کارفرما یا به زبان ساده تر سفارش دهنده‏ی این پروژه معرفی نشده و بنابراین نمی توان از اجرایی شدن نهایی آن اطمینان داشت اما محل اجرای آن در بلوار آفریقا یا همان جردن سابق است. در سایت پلان می توانید شاهد آن باشید که این مجموعه در تپه ها یا اراضی عباس آباد واقع شده، پس اگر قرار باشد چنین مجتمعی در عمل ساخته شود احتمالا شهرداری تهران کارفرمایی اش را به عهده خواهد داشت.
پیش از این هم شهرداری تهران به ساخت مجموعه ای سینمایی با معماری خاص اقدام کرده است. پروژه قبلی در کنار بوستان ملت است و به نام پردیس سینمایی ملت نام گرفته. معماران آن مجموعه «رضا دانشمیر» و «کاترین اسپریدونف» هستند و پیش از آن ساخت سینما آزادی با طراحی «بابک شکوفی» در محل سابق سینما شهر فرنگ. و حالا مجتمع مدیا که در جنوب پارک آب و آتش واقع شده است.





اما هدف معماران از طراحی مجموعه ای با چنین سازه و حجمی، نشان دادن خود انسان و اعمال و کُنش ها و واکنش های آن به عنوان یک رسانه است. در تصویر زیر می توانید ایده اولیه را در روند طراحی شاهد باشید.
