Yep, there are still some pics online somewhere of the tower with its windows shattered and destroyed

A relly beautiful building, and the only thing I really dont like is that it's the only building in that area, and it would have been better if it was packed up with tall building, but we got to apreciate what we have. I gave it 7/10

There has been a drastic change on the color scheme
Citigroup bought Cuzcatlan Bank and have refurbished the building
and that included changing the color on the neon lights from yellow to blue
as well as placing their logo on top.
Personally I like the new color better, I think it looks more urban and easier on the eyes

it really means a lot to us since it is seen as a sign of hope in the future
for the salvadorean people
This tower was built in the middle of our civil war in the
80's and it was originally named "Democracy Tower" or Torre Democracia
Fortunately democracy managed to grow and flourish
in El Salvador :)

Great history lesson, always interesting to know the story behind a piece of architecture. :)

I think the setbacks make it look ok, it wouldn't work otherwise because it's not tall enough. Other than that I like the shiny facade
