^^ Hola Gerba, me alegra que te haya gustado, es el Monasterio del Escorial, una histórica residencia de la Familia Real Española y lugar de sepultura de los reyes de España. Está gestionado por el organismo público Patrimonio Nacional. Es una de las más singulares arquitecturas renacentistas de España y de Europa.
Fue ideado en el año 1558 por el rey Felipe II y finaliza su construcción en el año 1584 . Está dedicado a San Lorenzo, mártir cristiano que fue abrasado en una parrilla, y por eso la planta del Monasterio tiene esta misma forma (de parrilla). Se alza para conmemorar la victoria de Felipe II contra los franceses en la batalla de San Quintín el 10 de agosto de 1551:
