Any developments in the area of parks? Favourite parks? Pics? Basically, a thread for all thinks park-related!
I don't really have any news, so I'll start off with some favourites; for the SI Hagley Park in Christchurch and Queens Park in Invercargill, while of parks I haven't been to, I have to say Pukekura Park in New Plymouth looks awesome. Some of the themed gardens in the Hamilton Gardens look neat too.
Incidentally, does anyone know what the largest urban parks in the country are? Apparently the aforementioned are (hectares) 165, 80, 52, and 58. For the record, One Tree Hill Domain/Cornwall Park are a combined 220.
