LOL, But do I say. Never been to the Kenyan coastal beaches as yet, Contact glasses yes but certainly not googles. Gait somewhat, physique; the guy is a little taller, dark yes. If I were to rate in the scale of 1 - 10 I would give it 5.5 nice try Papaf.

I have always wondered why all the big companies with most of their operations based in Mombasa do not build their corporate HQ's in Mombasa. Even the Kenya Ports Authority have a tower in Nairobi and none in Mombasa. Maybe they are all waiting for some greenlight to do what TSS has done.

I think the coastal -Read Mombasa construction style is alittle laid back their is so much conservertism when it comes to modern achitecture; a case in point is the iconic features( & buildings found in) Old Town -thats right in the CBD I understand, Fort Jesus and the almost unanimous acceptance of the use of Makuti in construction.

It will definately take more than a single TSS to bring about change. About the headquarters I think those key players probably think that they can reap more returns of their investments if they base the HQ's in Nairobi rather than in Mombasa. I hopefully look forward to companies like Pwani Oil|Kapa, Siginon Freight, KPA -Bandari, Vipingo, KTB and foreign investers among others to come to spearhead this.

You forgot Bamburi cement company. Truth is, I compare Mombasa with Dar es salaam but it seems the latter is growing at a really fast rate compared to Mombasa.

I understand that Dar is the largest Commercial & Administrative capital of Tanzania (Dodoma Capital) its obvious that its going to grow much faster, however Mombasa has several things going its way -Its East Africa's largest Port and The regions leading single most tourist destination this I agree is enough incentive to see it beat Dar es Salaam.
