National Bank Palace is one of the finest buildings erected in Kragujevac in the first half of the 20th century. It was completed just before the country had been involved in WWII. This massive, monumental structure is the artwork of architect Bogdan Nestorovic, son of architect Nikola Nestorovic, constructor of the District Court Palace.

National Bank Palace stands at the most representative site in the city – the corner of the main street – Kralja Akeksandra I Karadjordjevica (King Alexander I Karadordevic Street) and Branka Radicevica, by the New Church.

It may not look very spectacular, but I like the style of this building. (7.5/10)

The structure looks as if it has been stripped of other details. The ornate columns seem out of place on such a plain structure. 5/10
