Any news on the proposed projects for juba ?

^^ A lot of those projects are not on the web.....but the word is that, some are going well. An example is Airport development.....as indicated by the pic below, some construction is surely going on.

I heard about that to, a friend has shown it to me. However, I was not able to find it again... hopefully someone else can manage to find it..

I’m not aware of it....Although I did come across a story which gives mention to villas and something like Norwegian Development before. The story was vague, however I did search for the alleged company but all I can get directed me to Norwegian agencies which I was already familiar with....BTW, all of which are solely involved with capacity building.

true, but you gotta give us some credit for how much we've done in 5 years. Makes you wonder where we would be right now had we been given a chance to govern ourselves 50-60 years ago or at independence. I truly believe we wouldn't be so behind,...worst case, we would at least be on par with the likes of kenya and UG considering how similar our two countries are.

It is sure big....that size is not unusual for Nile Perch, they can even be bigger than that.

Rainfall in Sudan and its distribution is mostly the result of the northwards movement of moist air masses. This moist southerly air has its origins in the South Atlantic or Congo basin...

Actually, from what I heard......Juba was named after someone who was a local chief at the time. Thus, it is a Bari word......Unless they somehow made a mess of the guy's name back then and the word took a different form.

I was in Juba, South Sudan in December 2011. It's a developing city & actually quite scenic. Considering the oil wealth of South Sudan, Juba has a huge potential to be one of the most developed capitals in East Africa. The South Sudanese people have been fighting for so long. Now is their time to eat & prosper

I loved the pics & videos.
I have a lot of sympathy to Southern Sudan. Don't know why i feel some connection to this new country. Maby it's because of the big number foreign workers from Southern Sudan in my city. I hope my government will help you as much as posible.
