DRAKENBOOTVAREN

Een serie foto's van drakenbootvaren: een race op de Bosbaan, de jaarlijkse grachtentocht in de binnenstad van Amsterdam en training op de Gaasperplas.

Wat blijft het toch een schitterende stad! Zit sindskort het boek van Geert Mak te luisteren als audioboek in de auto, maar de schuine gevels zijn bewust zo geplaatst omdat het voorheen ook al schuin of trapsgewijs was gebouwd met hout. Het geeft toch zo'n mooi karakteristiek aan de stad, schitterend! En nagenoeg ongeevenaard in de wereld qua gevoel, uitstraling en beleving. En het boek is wel een aanrader tot nu toe! :) Binnenkort ook maar weer eens een dagje foto's schieten in de stad.

Een detail van een oude foto (jaren 1970) genomen vanaf de Shelltoren, zag ik in een scheepvaartmuseum in Maassluis.

Voor de liefhebbers (waaronder ik):

Gedeelten van Amsterdam Zuid en Zuidoost zijn vernieuwd in Google Maps.

Heb even gezocht naar een bouwput voor de datering, en aan het Stedelijk Museum te zien zijn de foto's ongeveer een half jaar oud, in ieder geval rond de winter genomen.

De nieuwe gedeelten zijn te herkennen aan een andere waas op bepaalde hoogtes.
Misschien is het al langer zo, maar het viel mij in ieder geval net op.

^^ Ik zag het gisteren. Ze zijn van 22 juni 2009. De bomen zijn ook wat aan de groene kant voor de winter ;)

Ik fietste door de binnenstad en zag een toerist een foto maken. Ik keek naar de richting waar hij keek en zag dit vreselijk mooi plaatje en kon het niet laten om even te stoppen :)

Dutchal, dikke pluim weer voor jou! Jij kan echt heel mooi fotograferen!

Prachtig, vooral de foto van het kraanspoor gebouw spreekt tot de verbeelding.
